Data Security

Introduction

This document outlines how we protect your data.

Encryption in Transit

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols, including Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This encryption ensures that any data exchanged between your browser and our servers remains confidential and cannot be intercepted by unauthorized parties during transit.

Encryption at Rest

Sensitive data stored within our databases is encrypted. This means that even if an unauthorized entity gains access to our database servers, they would not be able to decipher the stored data without the proper encryption keys.

Access Controls

We implement strict access controls and role-based permissions to ensure that only authorized persons have access to sensitive data.

Data We Collect

Key Calculus does not collect any information that identifies your business entity or where your Key Systems are used. We do not share any information with other entities, except that we provide our payment processor, Stripe, with your email address.

Payment Processing

Stripe (stripe.com) is our payment processor. The payment information you provide Stripe is not available to Key Calculus - we don't keep any payment information on our site, but we do keep your subscription status and expiration date on our site.

Data Backups and Disaster Recovery

We maintain regular data backups to ensure data availability even in the event of unexpected incidents or disasters.

User Responsibility

While we implement stringent security measures, it's essential for users to take responsibility for their own account security. We recommend using strong, unique passwords to protect your data.

If you have any security-related concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact Key Calculus Support.
